Level 3 - Advanced coaching

This coaching is with Senior Master Trainer Abby Lord

Level 3 Hypopressive Teacher Training

Advanced Neuro-Myofascial Integration | UK Certification | Edinburgh & Online

Tuesday 8th September - 9.30am-3.30pm - via zoom

Wednesday 9th September - 10am - 3.30pm - via zoom

Saturday 12th September - 10am - 5pm - Live in Edinburgh

Level 3 is where everything comes together.

This advanced Hypopressive teacher training integrates breath mechanics, neuro-myofascial movement, alignment strategy and nervous system regulation to maximise strength, stamina and long-term functional resilience.

Designed for certified Hypopressive Level 1 & 2 teachers, this course deepens your clinical reasoning, coaching precision and sequencing skill.

Who This Is For

This training is for movement professionals and certified Hypopressive instructors who want to:

  • Integrate nervous system science into their coaching

  • Understand neuro-myofascial chain behaviour

  • Build advanced Hypopressive sequences

  • Work confidently with complex presentations

  • Move beyond “positions” into intelligent system integration

Course Focus: Bringing the System Together

Level 3 expands Hypopressives beyond posture correction into whole-system coordination.

You will explore how:

  • The autonomic nervous system influences pressure strategy

  • Breath mechanics alter neuromuscular recruitment

  • Myofascial chains distribute load across the body

  • Alignment changes reflexive core activation

  • Stillness and tremor (regulation states) impact strength expression

This is not simply advanced posing.

It is advanced integration.

Core Content

Neuro-Myofascial Movement

  • Understanding fascial chains in dynamic loading

  • Elastic recoil and force transmission

  • Pressure redistribution across the thoraco-abdominal system

  • Integrating upper limb and lower limb chains into Hypopressive work

Nervous System Integration

  • Autonomic states and breath

  • Regulation vs performance states

  • Guarding, bracing and threat response patterns

  • Coaching apnoea with nervous system awareness

  • When to push, when to down-regulate

Advanced Hypopressive Sequences

  • Complex transitions

  • Multi-planar loading

  • Layered arm and spinal strategies

  • Stamina building through breath cycling

  • Coaching endurance without rigidity

Advanced Teaching Techniques

  • Cue refinement

  • Sensory-based coaching

  • Adaptation for hypermobility and high-tone clients

  • Programming for long-term progression

  • Practical labs and peer teaching

Delivery

Hybrid format:

  • Advanced online learning modules

  • Live practical labs (Zoom and in-person in Edinburgh)

  • Deep coaching refinement sessions

  • Case-study discussions

Expect high-level discussion, practical exploration and supervised integration.

Certification & Outcome

Upon successful completion, you will:

✔ Master advanced levels of Hypopressive training
✔ Demonstrate integration of breath, fascia and nervous system science
✔ Confidently teach complex sequences and transitions
✔ Progress toward senior-level Hypopressive teaching

This level develops clinical reasoning, not just choreography.

Time Commitment

  • Advanced theory and study: approximately 20 hours

  • Practical labs and case integration: approximately 20 hours

  • Personal practice and applied case work strongly encouraged
